A short policy, in plain language.

Account details for the coaches and the parents or guardians who sign in: name, email, and sign-in credentials. Player profiles that families create under their account, including the notes a coach needs to coach safely, such as medical notes and emergency contacts. And the content you put into Upswing: bookings, credit packs, check-ins, session notes, measured drills, match results, milestones, reviews, and messages.

To run the service you signed up for: showing a booking page with real availability, selling and tracking credit packs, running autopay, recording check-ins, handling rain-day rescheduling, and keeping each player’s record. We also use your email to send transactional notices about your account and schedule, and to reply when you write to us.

Upswing runs on a small set of trusted providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase for accounts, database, and file storage; Stripe for payments; Resend for email; and Expo for push notifications. Each handles only what it needs to do its job, and we do not share your data with anyone outside the providers that run the service.

Payments go through Stripe, which acts as the payment processor. The coach is the merchant of record through Stripe Connect, so lesson money moves to the coach, not into an Upswing balance. Stripe holds the card details; Upswing stores records of what was bought and paid, not full card numbers.

Parents and guardians hold the accounts. Players are profiles under a family account, with no child logins, no child emails, and no direct messaging to children. Sensitive fields like medical notes and emergency contacts are visible only to the coach while the relationship is active, and they are never included in exports, emails, or marketing.

You can update your account details from inside the app, and you can export your clients, history, and records and close your account when you decide to leave. Write to us if you want help removing data or have a question about it.
