Is there a contract?
No, it's month to month and you can leave any month. Your clients, history, and records export with you.
What counts as an active player?
Anyone on your current roster. Archived players, meaning families who've moved on, don't count against your tier.
What about card processing fees?
Card processing is the processor's standard rate, the same as you'd pay with any payment tool. Upswing adds nothing on top of it.
Do families pay anything to use it?
Never. Families just pay their coach for lessons. The subscription is the only thing Upswing charges, and it's the coach who pays it.
What about clubs and academies?
There is a club tier: $299 a month base with the first pro seat included, plus $99 a month per additional pro seat, month to month with no transaction fees. A seat covers a pro’s club-side work, and a pro who also wants their own private booking page keeps their own solo subscription for it. The club tier launches with the product.
